George Penree
Defensive Coordinator/Associate Head Coach
George Penree enters his third season as Defensive Coordinator and Associate Head Coach for the Saints in 2016.
In his first season with the Saints, Penree coached a defense that recorded its first shutout in program history and had another game where it held an opponent to zero yards rushing. Penree coached four First Team All-UMAC choices as the Saints finished in the top 25 in the country in total defense.
In 2015, Penree coached a Honorable Mention All-American performer in linebacker Alex Mangan. Penree’s defense ranked ninth in the nation forcing 32 turnovers.
Penree came over from Utica College (N.Y.) where his duties included Assistant Head Coach, Offensive Line Coach, Tight Ends Coach and Recruiting Coordinator from the 2008 season through the 2013 season. While at Utica, he was twice nominated for the AFCA Assistant Coach of the Year award.
Other stops, previous to Utica, including a year at Waldorf College (Iowa) and three seasons at Heidelberg College (Ohio), where he coached with Ramler.
Penree, a Utica native, earned his degree in Communication/Journalism from St. John’s Fisher College (N.Y.) in 2003 and earned his Master’s in Education from Heidelberg in 2006.
During his playing days, Penree was a four-year member of the St. John’s Fisher offensive line and served on the Leadership Council his junior and senior seasons.
Penree is married to his wife, Sherry and have a daughter Lola. 

Luke Blochowski
Defensive Backs Coach
Luke Blochowski begins his first season on the St. Scholastica coaching staff in 2016.
Blochowski is a native of Toledo, Ohio and graduated from Heidelberg University (Ohio) this past spring with degrees in Psychology and History.
Blochowski played two years as a defensive back at Heidelberg and then was a student coach of the wide receivers the last two seasons.
Blochowski will coach the defensive backs this season for the Saints.

Matt Keith
Offensive Line Coach/Strength & Conditioning Coach

Matt Keith enters his first season as the offensive line coach and strength and conditioning coordinator for the football team in 2016.
Keith, an Onsted, Michigan native, comes over from Beloit College (Wis.) where he was the offensive line coach as well as video coordinator for the program during the 2015 season. In his one season with the Buccaneers he coached an all-conference choice.
Keith graduated from the University of Mount Union (Ohio) in May of 2015 with a degree in Sport Business. He was an offensive lineman for the Raiders for four seasons winning four Ohio Athletic Conference championships, made four NCAA Division III Championship appearances, including winning the 2012 NCAA National title.

Matt Krivinchuk
Defensive Line Coach

Matt Krivinchuk enters his seventh season on the football staff in 2016, but this will be his first year as a full-time assistant.
Krivinchuk has coached the defensive line for the Saints since the 2010 season. This summer he accepted larger role offered by Coach Ramler. In addition to coaching the defensive line this season, he will also be the special teams coordinator.
Krivinchuk is familiar face to the football scene in the Twin Ports area. He was the offensive coordinator at Superior High School from 2000-2009. He was the head coach of the Superior Stampede/Lake Superior Rage of the Northern Elite Football League (NEFL) from 2006-2014. He guided the Stampede to the NEFL Elite Bowl I Championship in 2008. He is currently working with the North Shore Grizzlies of the Midwest Premier Football League (MPFL) this summer as the defensive coordinator.
Krivinchuk also spent the 2009 season as the defensive coordinator at Vermilion Community College.

Dominick Guglielmo
Running Backs Coach

Dominick Guglielmo begins his first season on the St. Scholastica coaching staff in 2016.
Guglielmo graduated from the State University of New York College at Brockport this past May with a degree in Accounting. While at Brockport he was part of the 2013 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) championship squad.
Guglielmo’s role for the Saints this season will be coaching the running backs.

Sister Lisa Maurer
Kickers and Punters Coach

Sister Lisa Maurer enters her third season as the kickers and punters coach for the St. Scholastica Football staff in 2016.
Before coming to St. Scholastica, Sister Lisa coached at St. Mary’s in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, accompanying teams that made state tournament appearances in both basketball and softball.
Maurer is Benedictine Sister at the Monastery of St. Scholastica. 
Sister Lisa made headlines in 2014, being featured in the New York Times, Sports Illustrated and the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, just to name a few. Below are some of those articles.
